How Cookidoo changes the way you cook
Cookidoo® is Vorwerk’s recipe platform. Choose a recipe on your phone or on the TM7 screen and the machine walks you through it: it sets the time, the temperature and the speed, and tells you when to add each ingredient. You can plan a week, generate a shopping list from it, and cook the same recipe the same way every time, or simply adapt it to your family’s taste.
Cookidoo is included for the first 3 months. After that the subscription is £50 a year — about £4.20 a month. Checked 14 September 2026.

What it replaced in my kitchen
| Appliance | Still used? | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Food processor | No | The bowl does the same job and cleans itself |
| Jug blender | No | Soups go from raw vegetables to hot and smoothly blended in just one bowl |
| Stand mixer | No | Kneading, whisking and cake batters all happen in the bowl |
| Kitchen scales | No | Weighing happens in the bowl as you go |
| Steamer | No | The Varoma steams two layers over whatever is cooking below |
| Slow cooker | No | Slow cook mode covers it, though the bowl is smaller |
| Air fryer | Yes | The TM7 does not roast or crisp. |
Where the TM7 falls short
I would rather you hear this before you spend the money than afterwards.
- It does not roast, grill or bake. You still need an oven.
- Bowl capacity is limited. Cooking for ten usually means two batches.
- It takes worktop space. It is heavy enough that you will not want to move it daily — which is, in practice, the point: the machines that get used are the ones left out.
- Guided cooking is a habit change. Confident cooks sometimes find it slower at first.
- The full experience assumes a Cookidoo subscription once the included period ends — £50 a year, which works out at about £4.20 a month, roughly the price of one takeaway coffee.
If any of that is a deal-breaker, I will tell you so at the demonstration rather than talk you round.
